GA Telesis Landing Gear Services is committed to providing the most comprehensive aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, and logistic support services to the commercial rotor and fixed-wing aircraft markets. We are seeking a weekend shift NDT Inspector for the GA Telesis Landing Gear Services facility in Medley, Florida. The NDT Inspector plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes.  

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
  • Communication: excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Conduct NDT for the acceptance of parts and document the results if a demonstration of proficiency in this ability was included in the practical examination
  • Have a general knowledge of other NDT methods, product manufacturing, and inspection technologies used by the employer
  • Record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer policies and procedures
  • Analytical skills: must be able to gather information and use data to determine cause and effect for complex problem solving.
  • Ensuring that the inspection tools and equipment, including inspection aids used to perform inspections, are in proper working order and the proper calibration information is affixed.
  • Perform Quality Control Inspections as required.
  • Landing Gear inspection experiences, a plus for this role. 
  • Other duties as instructed.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Level II Certification in both MT, and PT
  • Quality inspection, aerospace, aircraft inspection, NDT, Ultrasonic, NDT Level 2
  • Level II certification for one or more applicable NDT disciplines
