Sales and Sourcing Specialist

Within the Sales and Sourcing division at GA Telesis, the Inside Sales Team focuses on negotiating with suppliers to obtain goods, materials, and services at the best prices. The Sales & Sourcing Specialist role will be responsible for effectively communicating and maintaining a professional relationship with vendors and customers using detailed sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge geared towards the aviation industry. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the ideal candidates would have a background in sales order processing, be able to navigate working in a fast-paced industry and use their drive to assist with strategic business planning for FSG (Flight Solution Group) and the company overall.
Responsibilities:
- Gather quotes on parts and services based on customer requirements
- Fulfill quotes by quoting from stock and/or brokering materials
- Negotiate terms and conditions with customers
- Maintain customer opportunities within Salesforce
- Follow parts traceability requirements set forth
- Track shipment from freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery
- Resolve Non-Conforming Materials (NCO Cage) discrepancies
- Forecast, track, and achieve sales revenue with gross margin projections
- Deliver sales productivity analytics overlay sales organization
- Travel may be required (Less than 10%)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or above
- Ability to communicate effectively and be self-motivated
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors and customers
- Effective negotiation skills
- Proficient with Outlook, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools like advanced Excel (VLOOKUP), Tableau, Power BI, SQL queries etc.
- Advanced organizational and time management skills, the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous work experience in sales /customer support is a plus
- 1-2 yrs. aviation industry experience is a plus
- Experience with Quantum CRM and Salesforce is a plus
- Experience working with ILS, Aeroxchange is a plus
