Quality Control Inspector- Unlicensed, MRO Landing Gear Services

The Quality Control Inspector plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality Control and Projects, the ideal individual should be quality-oriented and attention to detail, self-motivated, reliable, and able to multi-task, to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet quality product expectations. This is a full time position based in Medley, Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and non-destructive inspections (NDI/NDT) of landing gear components and assemblies.
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure compliance with OEM manuals, work instructions, and regulatory standards.
- Verify documentation including repair orders, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and traceability paperwork.
- Accurately record inspection findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken.
- Conduct audits and quality checks throughout the repair process.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Maintain calibration status of measuring tools and test equipment.
- Support internal and external audits, including FAA and customer inspections.
- Adhere to safety protocols, quality procedures, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1-2 years Quality Control Inspector experience.
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 145), EASA requirements, and OEM maintenance manuals.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written) .
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with Quantum Software.
- Previous experience with landing gear systems.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
