Within the Operations Team of our Flight Solutions Group at GA Telesis, we are seeking an experienced Shipping Expeditor to join our team. The Shipping Expeditor plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, this role verifies and manages records on outgoing shipments, and prepares items for shipment according to standard protocols for quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will apply their knowledge and experience of warehouse and shipping operations to meet our customers needs. This role is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

 Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fill boxes or cartons with items that need to be shipped
• Prepare, process, and distribute documentation to ensure required aviation documents are in place and correct
• Prepare documentation for all customer shipments domestic and international
• Ensure all outgoing material adheres to company guidelines
• Follow ATA Spec 300 Packing of Airlines Supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

 Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
• 2+ yrs. work experience in a similar role
• Must have some experience working in a general warehouse  
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and spoken English
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Quantum ERP system knowledge is a plus
• Familiar with DOT & IATA Hazmat Shipping process
