GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES), a steadily growing and international Jet Engine MRO located in Finland’s capital region, is looking for a Special Jet Engine Inspector to join our Hospital Shop Visit (SPAH) Team, which specializes in performing special procedure workscopes for CFM56-5B, CFM56-7B, and CF6-80C2 engines.

As a SPAH Special Jet Engine Inspector, your primary responsibilities will include performing piece-part & module inspections, as well as tracking all internal inspection and repair shop orders for SPAH engines. This role requires proactive communication with various departments across the organization and monitoring of the progress of ongoing inspections and repairs. Additionally, you will perform other mechanic and inspection tasks as assigned by a supervisor or manager when required.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform piece-part, module and visual inspections as per the workscope.
  • Create inspection reports and attend tabletop inspections with customer representatives
  • Maintain constant communication within the team and other departments to follow status of open work orders.
  • Take ownership of all SPAH internal inspection & repair orders. Track their status and due dates.
  • Participate in internal & cross department meetings, provide updates regarding the work orders.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by a supervisor or manager
 Requirements:
  • Strong experience in piece-part and module level inspections for CFM56 and/or CF6-80C2 engine types.
  • Good knowledge of CFMI and/or GE Special Procedures and ESM inspection criteria.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken (Finnish is a plus).
  • Proactive mindset with a strong problem-solving attitude and goal-oriented approach.
