We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Analyst to join our international and growing team in a dynamic and fast-paced aviation industry.
In this role, as part of the Finance team, you will play a key role in transforming operational and financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, process optimization, and business growth.
Working closely with Business Cost Analytics, Production, Engineering, Commercial Support, IT and senior management, you will develop data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, support forecasting and planning, and help achieve our ambitious Production growth targets while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, aviation, MRO, or other complex operational environments is considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, process, and analyse large volumes of structured and unstructured data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to solve business problems such as predictive maintenance, quality optimization, and process improvement
• Clean, validate, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability
• Deploy and integrate analytical models into production and business systems and workflows
• Monitor model performance and continuously improve model accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
• Translate business requirements into scalable data science solutions
• Stay current date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and industry best practices
Requirements
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• 5 + years of experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R
• Experience working with SQL and large datasets
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
• Understanding of financial analysis, cost management, and business performance metrics
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English communication skills
Considered an Advantage
• Previous experience in aviation, aircraft maintenance, manufacturing, industrial operations, logistics, or other production-driven environments
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance methodologies
• Experience working with ERP platforms (e.g. IFS)
• Familiarity with AI and advanced machine learning techniques
