GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) is a full-service engine overhaul and repair station located at the Helsinki International Airport in Vantaa. We are now looking for a systematic and detail-oriented KIT Inspector to join our Inspection team.

The KIT Inspector’s responsibility is to determine the airworthiness of standard parts in the repair cycle in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Daily tasks include visual inspection of parts using different measuring instruments, organizing parts, and reporting the results to the ERP system. The KIT Inspector also assists Jet Engine Inspectors in inspecting other engine parts. The work is carried out in close cooperation with other teams in our company, for example Engineering, Logistics, and Parts Repair Shop.

The person suitable for this position takes initiative in their work, can make independent decisions, and has a technical mindset. The work is mainly done independently, but as part of a larger team that is always available to provide help and support.

Main responsibilities:
  • Visual inspection of standard parts using measuring instruments
  • Determining serviceability of parts
  • Organizing parts ready for the assembly team
  • Updating the ERP system
  • Maintaining the repair cycle schedule for standard parts

  • Good English language skills, Finnish is a plus

You will work in the morning shift from 7:00am to 3:00pm with the possibility for flexible hours. The starting salary for the position is determined according to salary group 5 in the collective labor agreement Salaried Employees in Air Traffic, which is 2,677€/month.
