Located at our Landing Gear Services facility in Medley, FL, the Department Coordinator supports day-to-day operations by performing a variety of administrative, reporting, and technical tasks under general supervision. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of departmental processes, company policies, and business systems. The Coordinator also contributes to process improvement initiatives and handles confidential information with discretion.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records and generate reports related to department metrics, performance, and compliance.
Prepare correspondence, memos, spreadsheets, and presentation materials.
Collect and analyze data for reconciliation reports and business documentation.
Ensure departmental processes are followed consistently; recommend improvements where applicable.
Handle technical or confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Maintain organized filing systems (physical and electronic) to support efficient information retrieval.
Monitor ongoing tasks and bring unusual or complex issues to management’s attention.
Support department leadership with special assignments or operational needs as directed.
Foster positive relationships with team members across departments to promote a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of related administrative or technical experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access); ability to learn company-specific software.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Familiarity with business process documentation or continuous improvement practices is a plus.
