Reporting to the Manager, the Junior Engine Technician is responsible for performing assigned duties safely and in a manner that ensures the airworthiness of the aviation product is maintained. The ideal candidate should be able to excel in a dynamic team environment and will work under the immediate and direct supervision of a Certified Technician or Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Assist other workers in servicing, repairing, and overhauling engines and articles
Disassembly and reassembly of components
Cleaning and assisting with the removal of aircraft components
Comply with hazardous material disposal procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to lift and move 40 pounds
The ability to teardown, inspect, parts requisition, assembly, test, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul aircraft fuel/pneumatic components
Self-motivation and hard-working attitude
Able to work in a team-oriented environment
English language proficiency to be able to read and interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins
