GA Telesis is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated commercial aviation leasing professional with strong experience in the aircraft leasing and trading market to join our aviation investment team, the “Asset Transaction Group (ATG)”. Reporting to the Vice President, Leasing & Trading, EMEA the Director, Leasing & Trading, EMEA will be responsible for (i) originating aircraft and engine acquisition opportunities subject to an existing lease or off-lease, with the goal of trading, repairing, and returning to service, and (ii) the remarketing, for sale or lease, of the GA Telesis owned and managed aircraft and engine fleet.
Responsibilities:
Origination of profitable aircraft and engine acquisition opportunities
Marketing and relationship management with airlines, lessors, and MRO’s
Investment evaluation in collaboration with the ATG analytics and technical teams
Developing lease placement and sale opportunities with lessors, airlines, and MRO’s
Collaboration and contribution to underwriting investment opportunities with management team, outside investors, and shareholders
Transaction negotiation with counterparties
Transaction management across GA Telesis support teams (finance, legal, technical, etc.)
Supporting cross-selling initiatives across the GA Telesis Ecosystem
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of relevant industry and transactional experience
General technical expertise with all major commercial aircraft and engine types
Eagerness to participate in a high volume of consistent travel (+/- 50%)
Proven track record in the aircraft and engine leasing/trading market
Strong network of airline, MRO, lessor, and OEM contacts
Relevant financial and technical acumen to evaluate acquisition opportunities
Knowledge of market values for engines and aircraft
