Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, the Accounting Analyst plays a key role in supporting the financial and accounting activities related to aircraft parts, engines, and asset sales transactions. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, billing, and reconciliations within the Sales division, while maintaining compliance with internal controls and contributing to global finance initiatives. The role is based onsite in El Salvador.
Responsibilities:
Sales Accounting & Reporting:
Prepare, review, and post invoices for aircraft parts and asset sales.
Ensure accuracy of revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Reconcile accounts related to sales transactions and monitor aging reports.
Data & Analysis:
Analyze sales margins, costs, and profitability trends by customer and product line.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for the Sales department.
Assist in preparing financial dashboards, forecasts, and performance reports for leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to validate transaction data and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with global accounting teams to ensure alignment with corporate reporting standards.
Compliance & Controls:
Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records.
Support internal and external audit requests.
Adhere to GA Telesis’ financial policies and aviation-industry regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.
Experience in sales accounting, inventory, or aviation/industrial sectors is a plus.
Strong understanding of GAAP, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite), and data analysis tools.
Bilingual, English/Spanish (written and spoken).
