GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) is a full-service engine overhaul and repair station located at Helsinki International Airport in Vantaa, Finland, specializing in both heavy maintenance and light repairs (SPAH) for General Electric and CFM International engines.
We are now looking for a Customer Support Account Manager to join our Customer Support team.
As a Customer Support Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts throughout the entire engine repair process — from induction to delivery and beyond. In this role, you will coordinate commercial and operational activities according to engine service agreements, facilitate transactions, and ensure that every customer receives the high‑quality support our company is known for.
You may come from either a technical or commercial background. What matters most is your motivation to learn the engine repair process and your ability to translate that knowledge into excellent customer service and clear communication between our customers and internal stakeholders. At GATES, we prioritize teamwork and close collaboration, which is why we expect our employees to work on-site at our office. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts during and after engine repair process
- Monitor, understand, and clearly communicate engine repair status and progress to customers
- Ensure timely resolution of issues by efficiently coordinating information and requests between customers and internal teams
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple departments, such as Logistics, Planning and Production
- Ensure terms of agreement are followed
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Maintain CRM updates
- Coordinate customer visits on-site when needed
- Travel occasionally for customer meetings and industry events
- Provide occasional support to the Commercial Support & Sales team with proposals and negotiations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or business administration, or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in customer support, account management or project management
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and an organized way of working
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken in English; Finnish language skills are considered a strong advantage
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement
- Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive, service‑oriented attitude
- Ability to interpret contract language
- Willingness and ability to learn the technical aspects of turbine engine technology and the engine repair process
- Ability to identify problems, and come up with solutions, with strive for continuous improvement
- Flexibility in working hours to support business needs across different time zones
- Experience in working with ERP and CRM systems (IFS, Jira and Salesforce preferred)
- Valid Driver’s license
