PROGRAM AND INVENTORY SPECIALIST – GA TELESIS LLC, FLIGHT SOLUTIONS GROUP (FSG)
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a global, international team at our Finnish unit office in Vantaa, Aviapolis.
We are looking for a self-motivated and independent Program & Inventory Specialist – Jet Engines (commercial sector) to strengthen the supply of used serviceable materials supporting aftermarket jet engine production and validation. In this role, you will work closely with jet engine components in a dynamic MRO environment and develop expertise in the global aerospace supply chain.
You will be responsible for ensuring the availability and efficient flow of used serviceable engine materials to support engine maintenance and repair processes. The role involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to source, purchase, reserve, and coordinate the supply of required engine materials within the global aerospace supplier network.
Reporting to the Inventory & Procurement Supervisor, the ideal candidate is highly organized, results-driven, detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive, with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
This position is based at our Logistics Center in Aviapolis, Vantaa, and at our main facility at Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport.
The role is a full-time, permanent position and is performed on-site at our facility.
Responsibilities:
• Prioritize material requirements supporting the critical path of engine production.
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations for engine materials based on pricing, availability, condition, and documentation.
• Create and manage purchase orders and oversee repair orders in the ERP system.
• Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Prepare material quotations and support inside sales activities, including stock sales and drop shipments.
• Broker engine materials and coordinate related logistics.
• Handle quality claims, shortages, and delivery discrepancies.
• Maintain relationships with key suppliers and support exchange and buy-back transactions.
• Manage on-site inventory and ensure alignment between physical stock and ERP records
• Review and verify documentation to ensure compliance with global airworthiness requirements, including FAA and EASA regulations.
We expect from you:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience working with ERP and inventory management systems.
• Practical experience in inventory control and material planning processes.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
• Confidence and readiness to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical, solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Flexibility and the ability to collaborate with international teams across different time zones.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with suppliers.
Considered an advantage:
• Experience with gas turbine engines (CFM56 and CF6 engine familiarity).
• Experience with Quantum and/or IFS ERP systems.
• Familiarity with FAA and EASA aviation regulations.
