Landing Gear Technician - Weekend Shift

GA Telesis Landing Gear Services is committed to providing the most comprehensive aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, and logistic support services to the commercial rotor and fixed-wing aircraft markets. We are seeking an experienced Landing Gear Technician for the weekend shift (Friday-Monday) to join our award-winning team with a focus on the building and tear-down of various landing gears and components. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the ideal candidate will use their experience and knowledge to perform high-quality alterations. This role is based in Medley, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, clean, and inspect landing gear components for wear, corrosion or damage.
- Perform polishing, honing, and/or plating of various landing gear parts, including cylinders, pistons, and bushings, using specialized tools and equipment.
- Follow strict tolerances and OEM repair manuals to ensure parts are restored to airworthiness standards.
- Operate machinery such as lathes, hones, grinders, and plating tanks safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Reads and interprets engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
- Minimum of a high school education or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience assembling aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies using applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing plans.
- Possess the ability to construct, install, dismantle, relocate, modify, and/or repair OEM equipment of all types.
