GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) is a Jet Engine MRO located at Helsinki Airport, Finland. We are looking for an experienced Jet Engine Mechanic to join our hospital shop visit team (SPAH), which focuses on surgical quick-turn engine repairs both onsite and offsite.
We are looking for a person who enjoys hands-on engine work and takes pride in delivering high-quality service our customers. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience with CF6-80 engines, is confident working independently, and is able to support and provide OJT to other mechanics when needed.
We offer a full-time permanent position and comprehensive relocation support for candidates moving to Finland from abroad. Our support is designed to help both the employee and their accompanying family members settle in smoothly and feel welcome from the start.

Your main responsibilities
- CF6-80C2 and CFM56-5B/7B Special Procedure Workscopes
- Pre/Post Lease and Purchase inspections
- On wing inspections & repairs
- Special Procedure repairs
- Module replacements
- Engine Test Run & Preservation
- MPD Tasks renewal

The ideal Engine Mechanic would have
- Several years of hands-on mechanic experience with CF6-80 engines with engine authorizations
- Experience with CFM56 engines is considered an advantage
- Good English language skills to communicate, be able to read & interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins
- Ability to take responsibility and ownership of work
- Flexibility with working times and shift work
- Strong motivation to learn new things
- Positive and hard-working attitude with a team player spirit
- Ability to work independently and provide OJT to other mechanics when needed
