Inventory Control plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. Reporting to the Director of Production, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for the incoming inspection of customer articles, receipt for maintenance, and ensuring that the conformity of that product is preserved to the customer's requirements during delivery to the intended destination. This role is based onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities:
Inventory Control plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. Reporting to the Director of Production, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for the incoming inspection of customer articles, receipt for maintenance, and ensuring that the conformity of that product is preserved to the customer's requirements during delivery to the intended destination. Responsibilities:
- Conduct a visual inspection of the container and contents for shipping, and damage, packing, and proper paperwork
- Take photos of the incoming unit, data plate, and packaging
- Tagging each received article properly
- Originate the work order package and route it to the Quality department for action
- Inspect all parts to be shipped to ensure proper shipping methods are used
- Ensure appropriate packaging materials are being used
- Ensuring all customer items are shipped to the correct location
- Ensure proper identification of material and containers
- Selecting the appropriate packaging and transportation mode for all items being shipped
Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory control
- Experience in warehouse operations
- The ability to operate a forklift
- Experience in using different online shipping systems (UPS, FedEx)
- Experience in using computers and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
